The Beginning
Topic: General Thunks



OK, yet another venture for me, only this one doesn't have to take up much extra time, as these thins have already been created. Inspired by my moving into a new home and seeing the degradation of all my old papers, I thought I'd throw these things out into the void for preservation and comment.

This is my first foray into Blogging, so we'll see what happens; honestly, I expect nothing. My purposes are threefold: a) to get my dilapidated hardcopies into a place more easily accessible 2) to see if, by typing this stuff in again, I can get the creative juices flowing (I like to start stories, but never finish) and iii) see if I can get comments on my writings, be they good or ill.

Yeah, I can take criticism fairly easily, as I have thick skin - what I don't want are random flames; these won't last.

What I'm doing is this: inputting in a lot of the writings I've done over the years: poetry, prose, short stories, novel beginnings, movie script starts, dreams, and art. I realize that I am not the best at these things, but I am hoping that revisiting them might help get me to start a story - and finish it.

P.S.> I'm going to try to get the forums here; a little piece of dusty cyber real estate that's languishing. It'll be a while before I get anything good going, as most of my friends will tell you.
